Flashing Method is Same [if you got problem checkout some links given below]
Simplest Method with stock recovery : 
1. Connect your phone to the computer.
2. Copy the ROM file to the folder downloaded_rom in the internal memory.
3. Open Updater on the launcher
4. Press the Menu button – Select installation file.
5. Choose the ROM zip you want to flash and select Update now.
6. After updating is completed, select Reboot now to enter the new system.
OR Rename the downloaded file to update.zip and go to recovery just by pulling out your Battery and insert it again press volume up + power button until your device boot in stock recovery.
Now Clear cache and Flash update.zip

How to Flash MIUI Rom with Stock Recovery
If you have twrp recovery you can try this
1. Go to Recovery just by pulling out your Battery and insert it again press volume up + power button until your device boot in twrp recovery.
2. First press Setting then press screen now uncheck Enable Screen Timeout.
3. Now go back to main option screen and select Wipe option.
    Now select Advance wipe and Select Dalvik Cache + Cache only.
    Now Swipe the arrow at bottom saying Swipe to Wipe. Wait
4. Now go back to main option screen and select Install option and choose Rom file just downloaded.
5. Now Swipe to install.
6. After Flashing Done Press wipe dalvik and cache [see bottom left hand side.]
7. Reboot your device and wait for 15Min.

      this is not different rom its official rom.
      user will get this via OTA update but for those who didn't got ota can download this.
      you can go for it and enjoy miui7 on redmi 1s

    I updated new version. In previous version it was easy to hide and unhide album. But in this version I hidden an album but I am not able to unhide it..I tried so much. My handset is redmi 1s. Please help me regarding this.

      to hide pics in miui 7 you have to sync with mi cloud on the other hand try app name quickpic its really good you can hide album pin pin or pattern protection

    Hello, many users have reported bugs after installing 7.0.5.0, so please give some details regarding how safe it is to install this version. I have 56.0 presently in which mp3 files when played audio breaks up sometimes in between. I have tried wipe cache but its not solved.

    I am hoping the new version will have this better.

      mp3 pause bug i seen frm beginning in miui rom however user said that in miui7.0.50 they feel no pause in music.... update to latest version its safe to flash use procedure given in post

      when you power off your phone it will shutdown as soon as u tap on power off menu.

      clear cache of file manager and music both and try again check if you used other player as default last option is to boot into recovery and wipe dalvik cache and cache twrp recovery is recommended for this

      yes its missing its not bug they removed it don't know why use ifont for now if you are rooted user or try multi version of miui rom

    Sir,
    I updated my redmi 1s to this MIUI 7.1.1.0 ROM from MIUI5 ROM that I had.
    In this new ROM AppLock application is not working properly, I mean whenever I clear recent open app catch then AppLock application gets close. And also music player gets off after clearing catch.
    Please tell me any idea to fix this problem
