This Rom will give you smooth performance on you redmi 1s.
Review
As i said rom is ausum base rom is CM A Must try ROM for Marshmallow lovers or flashoholics :D
First thing i'll recommend to you guys is not to use your sd card as internal storage just select portable in option.
Second thing is go into settings > Battery > Battery Mode and Choose Efficiency mode.
Camera : Its Good you will not disappoint by the picture quality, video recording working fine.
Battery : Wait for sometime will update soon
Sound : Its Nice no problem in that if you are not satisfied grab mixer_path.xml from miui rom [system/etc] and copy to aicp [system/etc] give right permission.
Heat : Yes while charging it do don't use it while charging
OTA updates : Yes
Radio app working fine, Music no freeze

How to Flash this ROM
[Always backup your current ROM]
1. Reboot into recovery (How to flash TWRP Recovery).
2. Wipe Data, System and Cache if it's a fresh install.
3. Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache if you're updating from a previous version.
4. Flash ROM, Gapps
5. Reboot and wait to boot.
