How to Root Unroot MIUI6 or MIUI7 Global Beta ROM for Redmi 1s working with Mi Recovery

MIUI Global Rom don't come Pre-rooted. Only Chinese Developer Rom comes Pre-rooted

Have seen many of user on social networking sites asking for rooting method for redmi1s miui6.
So try this method if you are looking forward to root you redmi 1s with miui6.
First of download this file
Links 1. Root_HM1S_MIUI6_Global.zip  2. Root_HM1S_MIUI6_Global.zip
Go to updater app and select zip you just downloaded



Note: If the above method doesn't work rename the downloaded file to update.zip and put it in internal memory and not in any folder then try to flash with the above method.

The phone will reboot in recovery and flash the su permission with superSU app
Now open SuperSu app and Select Normal wait for some time and then press reboot option.



How to Unroot MIUI6 or MIUI7 Global ROM 
1. Open SuperSu App.
2. Go to Settings tab and Scroll Down.
3. Select Full Unroot and Proceed.

    1. make sure you renamed it update.zip and not Update.zip please check and try again

    1. it's working perfectly however try renaming file to update.zip and boot into recovery select update.zip option hope it will work for you.

  7. After root I am not able to install any new app...it says insufficient space.... Tried uninstalling few apps but still it says same ...space problem...what should I do??

    1. you can boot into twrp recovery and wipe dalvik and cache and reboot if problem still persist flash your current om file by wiping dalvik cache and cache only your data will be saved so no issue in doing that
